Our commitment to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information entrusted to us by clients and partners.
Ritera Co., Ltd. (dba Affinity Housing) recognizes that information entrusted to us by military families, expats, landlords, and partners is a critical asset, and we are committed to protecting it throughout every stage of our brokerage and life-support services.
We comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Real Estate Brokerage Act (宅地建物取引業法), and all other laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to our operations in Japan.
We apply physical, technical, and organizational safeguards — including access controls, secure storage, and secure disposal — to protect client and partner information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage.
Staff and contracted partners — including our group guarantor company, TOYO MEIJI CO., LTD., and our rental and regional network partners — receive regular training on information security practices and are bound by confidentiality obligations appropriate to the sensitive documents, visa, guarantor, and financial records among them, that our work requires us to handle.
In the event of a suspected or confirmed information security incident, we investigate promptly, contain and remediate the issue, and notify affected parties and relevant authorities as required by law.
We periodically review this policy and our security measures to reflect changes in our services, technology, and the regulatory environment.
